Introduction ------------ This Readme document contains the following information about CreativeAV for OS/2: o A brief description, o Some package information, o An installation guide, and o Some known bugs. CreativeAV for OS/2 ------------------- CreativeAV for OS/2 is a suite of playback utilities that allows you to control the multimedia devices on your PC. It consists of CreativeCD which plays audio CD tracks. Package Information ------------------- The CreativeAV for OS/2 package has three types of files: o CreativeCD files, o Dynamic Link Library (DLL) files, and o Readme file. These files include: CTCD.EXE - CreativeCD Program file CTCD.HLP - CreativeCD Help file CTCD.ICO - CreativeCD Icon file PLAYER.DLL - DLL file for the Player's interface PLAYLIST.DLL - DLL file for the Playlist dialog box CTCCPM.DLL - DLL file for Creative's custom-controlled window CTABOUT.DLL - DLL file for the Product Information Box README.TXT - This file Installation Instructions ------------------------- The Installation program, found in the diskette provided, creates CreativeCD object on your Desktop. To install any CreativeCD object: 1. Run the program INSTALL.EXE from OS/2 command prompt. => The 'Selective Installation Utility' dialog box will appear. 2. Select the CreativeCD to be installed. 3. Specify the target directory. The default directory is C:\CTCD. 4. Choose the INSTALL button to begin installation. => The 'Installation Status' dialog box will appear. => The installation will be successfully completed. Known Bugs ---------- 1. Double-clicking on a file to play it can cause an access violation in DOSCALL1.DLL in OS/2 (Version 2.1 or 3.0). 2. Draging files from Files: list box into places other than the Playlist: list box can cause an access violation in PMDRAG.DLL in OS/2 Version 2.1.
